Salt & Pepper

We really had a wonderful time. We have had wanted to do to here for quite awhile but always failed to make reservations in time. We made it in for lunch last Saturday and I have to say, it was worth the wait. I had the fish of the day and my wife had fresh pasta with Gorgonzola and pear and both dishes were exquisite. The fish was so light and flakey, full of flavor and delicious. The pasta was so fresh and delicious. You could really taste the homemade difference of it. We split the foie gras plat. We should have each had one, it was so delicious. Usually we just have our foie gras on its own, but it was combined with other flavors and it really was a wonderful dish. So great. A traditional french dish but with a twist. A pleasant surprise. We each had a dessert as well, I had a chocolate tarte with banana flambée and my wife had the crème brûlée. Both were delicious, my tarte was so rich and chocolaty while the crème brûlée was a very well made traditional version of the dessert. A perfect brûlée on top of a creamy vanilla custard.

Very close to a Michelin star. If the decor would be a tad more elevated and the food a tad more refined they could easily apply I think. It has everything else. The taste of the food is wonderful (you must try the snails especially if you never had snails before and think you might hate them). And the dessert omg the dessert. The waiter knows what he's doing and how to offer advice on food and wine pairing. The atmosphere is casual but infused with refinement and professionalism. Bathroom spotless. You Must reserve though as they have a very small establishment. All in all a wonderful experience.

Small restaurant well run but a max of 16 covers so try to book or be early for a walk in. As others have said the escargot are special. Good price quality we had starter x2, mains x2, 1 dessert bottle of wine, G&T and a glass of wine = €102! Winner.
